Now it's the off-season...

...and somehow still no one has time for homework, despite the 10 hours/week of band practice being a thing of the past. Winter quarter sucks.

The Huskies had the worst record ever (literally) this year, but the Husky Marching Band was still the best in the Pac-10 and we cheered the team on until the very end. (And all the football-turned-band fans cheered us on, too...we <3 them so. Band fans FTW.)

Rookie nicknames were lovingly bestowed en route to the Apple Cup (something we're still trying to forget). Check the members page and scroll nearly to the bottom to see.

The band banquet was recently, and the saxes brought home two section awards, woooooo yeah! I'll remember what they were and update the awards page soon-ish...I promise!

Everyone is super excited for Obama of course, but we here at Washington are also pumped for FOOTBALL. Sark and Holt? It's gonna be good...
